Dana has over 30 years’ experience in business and corporate development; sales and marketing and product management with emphasis on Customer Communications Management strategies and solutions. Having worked in a variety of senior management roles with companies such as DST Output, ADP (now Broadridge Financial) RR Donnelley and Fidelity Investments, Dana was most recently the President of S.M.A.R.T. Consulting Services (SCS), a consulting firm focused on driving the digital transformation of businesses through improved customer communications. Dana is also the creator of SmartTouch™, a branded CCM solution for underserved organizations; the SmartTouch™ brand will be incorporated into CCS’ existing CCM solution offering. Dana is a well-respected industry executive whose broad experience assisting clients in the Financial Services, Insurance, Utilities, and Non-Profit industries has involve overseeing the nation-wide implementation of several important technology and operational projects.
Mr. Johnston joins one of the industry’s premier providers of customer communications solutions and will focus on the identification and development of a broad customer communications management strategy designed to take advantage of multi-channel client communications opportunities, as well as ongoing support of the Content Critical customer base. “Dana has the leadership qualities we look for in people. Dana graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY with a BA degree in Managerial Economics and continued his studies in Entrepreneurial Management at Babson College. Dana and wife Laura live in Sarasota, FL; they have five children.
