Information Collected
In general, you can visit this Web site located at www.contentcritical.com (“Site”) provided by Content Critical Solutions, Inc. and/or its parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies (collectively, “Content Critical,” “us,” or “we”) without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. This Privacy Policy Agreement (“Policy”) addresses Content Critical’s practices regarding information collected from users of the Site and only addresses information collected directly through or from the Site – it does not address or govern any information gathering, use, or dissemination practices related to information collected from the user (sometimes referred to as a “visitor,” “you” or “your”) other than directly through or from the Site, such as from telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media. We always welcome your questions and feedback. Content Critical can be contacted at info@Contentcritical.com. This Privacy Statement is incorporated into Content Critical’s Website Terms of Use Agreement by reference, as if set forth fully therein. We respect your privacy and want to protect your personal information.
Our web servers may collect or track the home server domain names, date and time of your visit, type of computer, the originating IP address, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, and type of Web browser of visitors to the Site as well as aggregate and user-specific information regarding which pages a user accesses.
Our web servers may place a “cookie” (a small data file) or similar code on your computer’s hard drive which allows the server to determine the computer when it visits again, in order to track statistical information about navigation to and throughout certain areas of our Site and the Internet, and to allow Content Critical to serve advertisements and promotions to you on other third party Web sites.
Specifically Content Critical (1) engages third party vendors, including Google, to display advertisements on third party Web sites on the Internet; (2) third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on your prior visits to our Site; and (3) you may opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page. In addition, you can opt out of a third party’s vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative and/or by placing the appropriate setting on your browser to reject or disable cookies.
This Site may use DoubleClick’s remarketing pixels, and you may opt out of DoubleClick’s use of your cookies by visiting the DoubleClick opt-out page or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (as also listed above).
Please note that if you disable cookies entirely, you may limit your browsing experience on the Internet. Such cookies are not used by Content Critical to obtain your name or any personal data.
Content Critical may use Google Analytics, or a similar tracking service later developed, in order to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on the Site.
Content Critical may utilize an opt-in Geolocation service in accordance with a prevailing community standard such as HTML 5. Such Geolocation opt-in ability is managed by the user’s browser settings. If a user chooses to opt-in to the Geolocation service, the user’s use of the Site, comments and other activities on the Site may be associated with the user’s location, both internally within Content Critical and publicly on the Site.
In addition, there are parts of this Site where we may need to collect personal information from you for a specific purpose, such as to provide you with certain information or services you request, including processing payments made on the Site and accessing and viewing your screen in connection with our webinars and related services. The information collected from you may include your name, address, telephone, fax number, e-mail address, billing address and related payment information, as well as information knowingly provided by you in online forms, surveys, e-mail, and other online avenues (including, without limitation, demographic and personal profile data). If you do not provide all the information needed by us we may not be able to give you the information or services you request.
Use of Collected Information
Aggregated data on visitors’ home servers that we collect is not used to personally identify you and instead is aggregated to measure statistical use of the Site, such as the number of visits, average time spent on the Site and pages viewed for internal purposes. We use this information to measure the use of our Site and to improve the content of our Site.
We do not share, sell, or lease personal information about you provided through the Site to any third-parties for their marketing use. Personal information collected by Content Critical, such as your name and e-mail address, may be used by Content Critical for many reasons, for example, to respond to your inquiry or to process your request (such as to receive investor relations materials or inquiry about employment), for recordkeeping, editorial and feedback purposes, marketing and promotional purposes, statistical analysis of users’ behavior, product development, content improvement, or to customize the content and layout of the Site. We may share your personal information with our current or future subsidiaries or affiliates in order to enable us to do so. For this purpose, the information you provide may be transferred outside your country to another country that does not have similar data protection legislation and may provide a lower level of protection for your information. However, we have taken certain measures outlined below to try to protect the security of your information. By submitting any information you consent to these transfers.
We may also share your personal information with other companies we have hired to provide services for us, including housing your financial information with a third party payment processor we may engage. These companies – our vendors – are contractually bound to use personal information we share with them only to perform the services we have hired them to provide. While Content Critical may undertake efforts to see that any third party to whom Content Critical discloses personal information is under an obligation to use the personal information solely for the purposes for which the information was disclosed, such third parties are independent third parties over which Content Critical exercises no control. Content Critical is not responsible for, and will not be liable for, the conduct, actions, omissions, or information handling or dissemination practices of third parties.
We will release information about you if you direct us to do so, if we are required by law to do so, or in other legally limited circumstances (for example, to protect your account from fraud). Identifiable and non-identifiable visitor information and data may be disclosed or distributed to another party with which Content Critical enters or reasonably may enter into a corporate transaction, such as, for example, a merger, consolidation, acquisition, or asset purchase, or to a third party pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, in response to a request by or on behalf of any local, state, federal, or other government agency, department, or body, whether or not pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, or if determined by Content Critical in its sole judgment that such disclosure or distribution is appropriate to protect the life, health, or property of Content Critical or any other person or entity.
As a benefit to registered users of the Site, Content Critical may include a users name and relevant personal information in his or her profile. If you are or become registered on the Site, you agree that your name and certain registration information provided to Content Critical may be made publicly available on the Site through your profile. We may also desire to contact you for market research purposes or to provide you with other marketing information we think would be of particular interest. You will have the option of not being contacted by Content Critical and opting-out of such contacts by setting the appropriate option in your profile.
